  • How much does it cost to write a bid?

    The million dollar question… Don’t worry, it’s certainly not that much! 

    We appreciate that outsourcing your tender writing is an investment. Each bid is a unique project and as such we need to review the tender documentation in order to provide an accurate price. We will discuss and formulate a cost that is feasible and manageable to you. 

    It benefits our clients when we work on your tenders with some ‘skin in the game’ and operate on a fixed fee win bonus model. Our pricing is fully transparent and there will never be any ‘added extras’. You will be quoted a fixed fee for the work but we will reduce our fee as much as we can and include a win bonus… If you win, we win, if you lose… Let’s not talk about that!

  • Who will work on my bid?

    You will be assigned a dedicated experienced bid lead to work with you on your tender, they will undertake the necessary bid preparation to fully understand the bid, the requirements and the evaluation criteria. Where possible, we will always allocate the writer who possesses the most amount of experience within your industry to support and rest assured, each submission goes through our robust quality assurance process to ensure we are geared up to submit a winning tender submission. 

    You will be provided with a pre-bid preparation form which details the process, expectations, timeframes and contact information for our internal team, including our Management Team.

  • How long does it take to write a tender?

    As tenders can vary in length, number of questions, level of detail required and answer complexity, it is difficult to predict how long the process will take. To quote accurately for your bid writing service of choice, we would need to see the tender documentation and gain a better understanding of your business.     Absolutely! There are two types of bid reviews that we offer, including:

    • Bid Review and Comment: This is our ‘light’ touch service where we review compliance, your response structure, the unique selling points, and added value.We will offer our suggestions for improvement and send them back to you for you to make the relevant changes.
    • Critical Bid Review and Improve: This service offers a more in-depth review, where our experts will review your draft tender, comment where needed, assist with improvements to the written content, and manage the process through to completion.We have experience across almost every sector and industry you can imagine, so we know what it takes to improve your draft to become a winning bid!
    • Strategy, Review and Improve: This all-encompassing strategic review involves us from the very beginning of the tender process. You can still draft your own responses with our expert guidance and support. We will support with the storyboard, structure and win themes of your tender prior to development of the draft.

  • What are your payment terms?

    Our payment terms are pretty industry standard, we require 50% upfront with the final payment due upon submission. Once we have established a working relationship, we can put some payment terms in place that are beneficial for both parties. 

  • How can you help if you don’t know our business?

    You are the experts in your field, you know your business better than anyone, we know how to write and structure a winning bid! Together, that’s a pretty powerful team.

    The bid process is always a collaboration, we will take the vast majority of the work ‘off your desk’ and following our initial ‘bid kick-off’ meeting, we will understand much more about your business.
